Can you change your life with just a thought? Joyce is a Mind Therapist who will teach you that you can. Propagating a powerful mindset, she presents talks on “Power of the Subconscious Mind” to individuals and also many organisations. This is her signature topic which she explains to her audience about the way we can turn our lives around when things are not working favourably – just by changing our thoughts.

With a Masters of Counseling from Universiti Malaya and a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology and Management (honors) from the Upper Iowa University, Joyce has the passion in studying human behavior and helping them to realize their own unique capabilities. She is currently pursuing her PhD in University Malaya in the topic of Self-Compassion and Anxiety. She is a registered counselor with the Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia and is a HRDF certified trainer. Trained and certified as a hypnotherapist with the renowned National Guild of Hypnotists, USA (NGH), she is a clinical hypnotherapist who works with individual clients as well as groups and the corporate sector. Joyce also completed her Diploma with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis (LCCH) and Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore. She is also trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and is a certified Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, She is also an Accredited Goulding Sleep Talk™ for Children consultant and a Schema Therapist (UK). She also conducts Hypno-Band (UK), a revolutionary weight loss program using the power of your subconscious mind. She believes that with these various tools, and together with her vast knowledge of the subconscious mind, she is able to help train and improve the lives of many.

Joyce founded ‘Joyce Hue- Mind Therapy’ in 2009 with the aim of improving lives and empowering people. She is also the Managing Director of Relife Mental Health Clinic Sdn Bhd and a visiting consultant at Eve Caring Center, a psychological rehabilitation center in PJ. She is also on the panel of International SOS as a psychological consultant. Occasionally, she is a guest speaker to some universities around and is an Elite Alumni to Universiti Malaya where she gives guest lectures on topics relating to private practice. Recently, her experience as a counsellor has seen her being invited by the Ministry of Health Malaysia to be on the panel for planning the ‘National Blueprint for Counseling’ and the ‘National Blueprint for Hypnotherapy’.

She is the Honarary Treasurer of the Selangor Mental Health Association. With this NGO, she is active with community work and helping fellow Selangorians improve their levels of wellbeing. Her work in SMHA sees her giving talks to the B40 community as well as being the head of their community counseling program. She has been a member of the Association of Hypnotherapy Practitioners of Malaysia since 2013 and is currently a committee member.

Joyce often conducts workshops related to mental health, to the corporate sector and members of the public in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Cambodia and even Zimbabwe. She has spoken to companies such as Shell, JP Morgan Chase Bank, Genting, Huawei, Coway, Persol. Mudah.my, Boehringer- Ingelheim, My Magic, Top Glove, MyCC (Suruhanjaya Persaingan Malaysia,), Cigna Insurance, Robert Walters, Ramsey Sime Darby Hospital, Starbucks, EcoWorld, National Cancer Society, BESI APAC, Junior Chamber International (JCI), Labuan International School, Segi University, Monash, BAC, IACT, Taylors University, UCSI University.

She has even recorded her talk with radio and TV stations, such as BFM, NTV7, RTM and 8TV on topics such as “Cessation of Smoking”, “Sleep Talk” and “Mind for the Body -Hypnotherapy”. Her most recent interview being on Bernama TV where she was invited three times during the pandemic period to share tips with the nation of how to manage their anxieties. She was also on Astro Awani on a 3- part cover on hypnotherapy. Her articles and interviews had appeared in The Star, News Straits Time, The Edge, The Sun, Tatler Magazine and other healthcare publications.
Joyce looks at each individual as someone who has the abilities to shine as a person. She sees past their psychological challenges and she leads her clients to believe in themselves, their own worth and teach them to develop a positive self-belief.
